Autism In Women

The Autism in Women zine was created as my final major project at university while studying for a B.A. in Illustration and Animation. I decided to create an informative publication about the still little-understood subject of how women with the condition navigate and see the world.

I utilized tactile collage techniques and distinct illustrations to give a sensory glimpse into what it is like to live with the condition, writing from a deeply personal perspective.

To enhance the narrative structure, I created a guide character named Ronnie the Owl. Ronnie helps lead the reader through the pages, providing crucial context and objective explanations outside of my own personal experience.
